If you have a party for 30 -40 person then there are some suggestion to plan it at home
Cut he veggies a day before .
Make a puree of onion tomato ,Chopped the greem chilli,ginger garlic paste 
Make the spices masala in packet for different different dishes 
Make dessert a day before 
Plan the arrangement of house and seat .
Its better to buy the dispposal item .
Decide the serving bowl and dishes .
Prepare few snacks .
MAke fresh Veggies just  do the cutting and chopping a day before .
