plate with love

In India the thali system was very old .I am very close to it .We have the steel, Brass(peetal) plate and glass plate. Plastic is kind of ban but being kids we want the plastic lunchbox as they are fancy .Although my parents do not want this the thali is bigger then  plate is around 16" anything larger then this is called thali and it have the more uplifted side (and inch to 2") to save the food from spilling .All the food should be kept in an order.the small bowls (katori ) from four to 10 depending on the occasion are there.The Ladies of the house cook that food 2 times .They sit on floor(difficult to imagine for me ) cook on the chula (wooden grill) .
